If your passion is for visual effects, 2D or 3D animation, or concept art for video games or blockbuster films, this is the Digital Arts & Animation program for you.

You can experience what it's like being in the full animation and VFX pipeline in our Digital Art & Animation program. Our Digital Arts & Animation courses have been designed with input from industry connections so Cogswell College students learn the skills studios are looking for. You'll bring vivid characters, worlds and creatures to life and work from start to finish on animation projects that are ready to hit the festival circuits. 3D Modeling

Cogswell College's 3D Modeling concentration has been designed to ensure Digital Arts & Animation degree program students get the most relevant training and access to modern industry tools taught by subject matter experts. You'll learn professional workflows and create your own 3D models for films, video games and more.

3D Animation

Entertainment Design

The Entertainment Design concentration will give you the ability to bring stories, characters and landscapes to life. Taught by industry professionals, Digital Arts & Animation students acquire experience in drawing, rendering, model building, sculpting and using 3D tools. This prepares imaginative Digital Arts & Animation program students for careers in fields like animation, video games, and environmental design.

Technical Art

Combine your passion for art and tech. As the digital entertainment industry becomes more complex, the need to bridge the gap between art and programming has never been more pressing. Technical Artists are essential for integrating art assets into a project without going beyond the technical limits of the platform.

Program Learning Outcomes for the B.A. in Digital Art & Animation Program

Cogswell graduates in Digital Art & Animation will be able to:
